Well hello there, my lovelies. Apologies for the long lapse since my last blog post. Things have been busy around here.
Moving straight on to today’s topic, something that’s on my mind a lot lately. Leather seating. Of all kinds, including sofas, chairs and poufs. I can’t tell you quite how odd it is for me to find myself gravitating towards leather furniture because when it comes to fabric vs leather, I’ve always been formally placed in the textile camp. Despite the hide’s awesome aesthetic, I’ve stayed away from leather couches because I find them cold, slippery and uninviting during winter and too warm and sticky in the heat/humidity of summer. I am however becoming more open-minded in my… ahem… old age. I think I may be taking a leap towards some leather loveliness quite soon.
As you’ve no doubt gathered, it’s the tan, somewhat aged leather look that’s really caught my eye. It works so well with black, white and greys. For anyone else who’s on the lookout for some leather action, here’s a roundup of some of the goodies out there.
