Decor and interior lovers, you need to get a load of this! I’m not usually one to talk techie stuff, but I’ve just discovered a new app that’s going to rock your world. Patternsnap is most appropriately described by Harpers Bazaar Interiors, as ‘the Shazam of the interiors world.’

We’ve all had that frustrating experience of having seen a fabric or wallpaper that you loved, but didn’t or couldn’t get the name of it, so you spent hours online looking for it, or a good alternative. Sound familiar? With this app, you can just snap a photo or upload an image, and Patternsnap delivers either a positive ID on your desired pattern, or a selection of the closest matches. Ok, so I’m making it sound a bit like Interpol for decorators, but seriously, how awesome is that?!

It’s got to be the coolest way to search, save and share wallpaper and fabric options on your iPhone or iPad. And a very useful tool for team projects.
