I’ve been having such fun with a project I’m currently working on in a beautiful Arabian Ranches home. Whilst there was nothing particularly wrong with the state of things, the owner was eager to give the downstairs living and dining room a little refresh – just to change things up a bit and keep things, well, fresh. And that’s precisely what we are doing.
The living room has a huge corner sofa that is begging for statement artwork above it so I have been on the hunt for large scale botanical prints. The room is very serene with plain, textured fabrics and simple geometric prints, which is why I figure some greenery will make a good contrast both in colour and aesthetic. Botanical artwork usually never fails to instil a sense of calm and zen, although it’s a big call for this busy family home with three smalls, but let’s see if some foliage will do the trick.
The project is almost done, and when it is, I’ll bring you a full reveal but for now, I wanted to share with you some of the stunning options I have found.

I always find it helps to have a visual of what artwork will look like in place.. [please excuse the ‘in progress’ pictures]…
You’ll have to wait to see the final result, but which one would you pick?

I like the 2 horizontal prints. The scale and directionality just seem to work with the sectional.
Great minds think alike, H. That’s my pick too 😉 xx
