If you’ve not heard of Little Majlis, and you’re not already shopping there, let’s fix that today, shall we?

Little Majlis is a Dubai-based, specialist online marketplace for handmade and artisan products, marketed by Gulf-based artists, designers, and crafters. Founded by dynamic business duo, Anna Bolton-Riley and Annabelle Fitzsimmons, it’s basically the Etsy of this region and it’s pretty awesome.

Always on the lookout for unique homewares, Little Majlis is one of my go-to sites for decor sourcing. I love the fact that the company supports local talent as well as promoting small business – making it an excellent find, not only for shopping, but for selling your own products too. Needless to say, Little Majlis is one of my first stops when I start pulling a mood board together. I recently completed a gorgeous room for a little chap and it got me thinking about a blog post featuring some of my favourite shops on Little Majlis.

The boutique shops found on Little Majlis are independent and individually run – if you have a question, you can send a direct message to the shop owner, making it a very personal experience. Products are seldom commercially produced and many are handmade right here in the GCC.
