Tribe is one of the latest homeware boutiques to hit Dubai and I can assure you that it is about to start making some serious waves in the local interiors scene. Founder, Jo England, has garnered an impressive selection of decor pieces perfectly suited to a style that is best – and rather aptly – defined as ‘tribal chic’. Needless to say, I am already a huge fan!
Tribe’s carefully curated collection of home decor, furniture and accessories features lots of natural textures and ethnic treasures. Tribal chic inspired spaces tend to feature chalky neutral palettes alongside natural timbers and textiles including linen, leather, hides, sisal, jute, feathers and shells. Tribe has all of this and more on offer – and with plenty of gorgeous goodies from South Africa, I feel like I have finally found a piece of home right here in Dubai.
Jo is only just out of the gates with this amazing new concept and I am so excited to see what is still to come.
The website is still in process, so you will need to visit the store to see everything that’s available, but don’t worry, when you get there you will know it was worth the trip. It’s definitely the kind of stuff that is best appreciated up close and personal.
Tribe is located on the second floor of Al Maidoor building, which also houses the Lexus showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road (if you’re facing Dubai Garden Centre, you’ll find it on the right). Entry to the lift lobby is from the back of the building.
You have your treasure map – go get it!
