Finally, some gifts have been bought and now the wrapping begins. This year, I am going with an au naturel, rustic look for my Christmas gift wrapping. I love this style, not only because it looks great, but it’s so easy to achieve and works well with my 2015 free printable gift tags.
The real secret ingredient here is the greenery. It offers such a fresh and rustic vibe. Using real fir tree cuttings from your Christmas tree or rosemary will also make your gifts smell great, but in all honesty, any piece of greenery from your garden will do. Just remember that they won’t last too long.
There’s really nothing to this one, folks.
- Wrap your gifts in kraft paper
- Add double or triple rows of washi tape to look like a ribbon
- Tie some cord or string over the row or tape
- Add a gift tag and a sprig of greenery.
Voila – you’re done!
