I can’t believe that Valentine’s Day is only a month away. We only just got through Christmas and New Year and it’s already time to start thinking about the next holiday.
In our household, Valentine’s Day was forever postponed by a week when we welcomed our baby boy into the world on 14 February 2009. In an attempt to keep his special day ‘all about him’, my hubby and I agreed that from then onwards, we would keep any possible exchange of Valentine’s gifts and/or celebrations (rare as they may be) for another day, and we settled for a week later. Looking back, this may simply have been a cunning plan on his part with some connection to the price roses in the week AFTER Valentine’s Day. Hmmmm. So whilst I have an extra week for potential planning, I wanted to share with you some cute printables today as I know that these would be needed in good time for the real holiday.
This year, why not surprise your man with a trail of love notes. This printable set is so easy to put together and it’s available with my compliments.
The idea here would be to leave these cute notes in a series of places that your man will come across as he goes about it day. Where exactly you choose to leave these little gems is up to you. The options are endless and will allow for ample creativity. But let’s face it, this mission is likely to require some stealth-like moves and prior planning which may or may not include sneaking around the house like a thief in the night after he’s asleep, but I have no doubt it will all be worth the trouble. And who knows when you might need your new found skills?
All you’re going to need for this mini DIY project is card stock of at least 180 gsm and some scissors. Download the printable cards here in A4 or Letter size, trim around the edges and voila! [note: the large typeface should appear as lined rather than solid]
So that’s your Valentine’s Day all sorted, right here. And the best part is, your wallet will barely show a dentβ¦ unless of course, you’re planning something big like a fabulous weekend getaway! Whatever your plans, have fun.
