Hello my lovelies and welcome to October… already. It seems that Christmas is officially in sight. How did that happen so fast?
Updates to the blog have been a little scarce lately as I’ve been sidetracked with a few small projects. One of these is a revamp of our dining room which is looking drab to say the very least. I’ll update you on this space when its fit for public consumption but in the meantime, I can tell you that its had me reacquainted with my sanding machine – a relationship I would rather happily neglect. I’ve also been having a look around, both online and in stores, for new dining chairs, accessories and some inspiration. The latter has been considerably more enjoyable than removing layers of varnish in 40+ degree heat! Try not to be envious of my glamorous life.
This recent decor hunt has enlightened me to the fact that I’m really quite a fan of wire furniture and accessories. Who knew? So my September roundup is a collection of some of the lovely ‘wired’ bits that made me stop and look.

‘Bonjour’ wire script sculpture – I adore this but would love to find one that says ‘Sawubona’ (hello in Zulu) instead | Origami coffee table with hand-inlaid bone-tile top – lurve this! | DIY wire lamp shade… one to try if you’re feeling particularly industrious | This classic Eames inspired beauty available right here in Dubai | Funky wire storage baskets | Geometric wire table lamp
Eid Mubarak to friends who are celebrating this weekend.
