Jotun’s 2016 colour trends // Giveaway

29/10/2015
Jotun paints 2016 colour trends

A few weeks ago, I got a sneak peek at Jotun’s new collection and I was blown away. This week, the company has officially launched their 2016 Wall Trends at Dubai’s Downtown Design – a trade fair dedicated to original and quality design. The event, coinciding with Dubai Design Week, is in it’s third year and is well worth a visit for all design enthusiasts. Dubai is quite literally buzzing with creativity at the moment!

Earlier this week I popped in at Downtown Design’s preview event and had the pleasure of meeting Jotun’s Global Colour and Creative Director, Lisbeth Larsen. This dynamic and energetic woman is the driving force behind Jotun’s colour selections and her influence (and infectious personality) is a shining example of why the Scandinavians remain at the forefront of global design and interior trends.

There is so much to love about Jotun’s 2016 Wall Trends. The colours and themes are inspired by the world that surrounds us, and as Jotun so aptly puts it, are “reflections of a journey – one that makes a house become a home.” Whilst I love a bit of pretty marketing talk as much as the next person, let me assure you, this particular collection truly resonates with me and there is something in here for everyone. Not only is there a stunning range of colours to choose from, but Jotun also offers a selection of paint techniques that will give your walls a textured look of linen, brick or concrete.

You can take a look at the full palette here but the top three images are my stand-out favourites.

If Jotun’s 2016 Wall Trends have your heart racing already, brace yourself for more excitement. As you may already know, I’ve been celebrating my blog’s two year anniversary with a series of amazing giveaways this month, and we’re closing the month off with a bang!
