When Leanne from White Moss asked us to join her and another interior design team for fun day of styling at her beautiful home, we were intrigued with the idea of some styling on the fly, so to speak, and immediately said yes. And not just as an excuse to visit Casa White Moss again, but also to enjoy an exclusive preview of the new collection that we would be showcasing. A random draw decided that the lovely and super talented girls from C’est ici were going to tackle the playroom downstairs and team House of Hawkes was tasked with making over the guest room. Furniture and accessory items from White Moss’ new collection were on hand to use for our impromptu styling, including a selection of art prints that are new to their listings.
The gorgeous Bella headboard and a selection of leather cushions presented our starting point and the room evolved into an earthy toned haven from there. As you may have noticed from our Helmii X House of Hawkes bed styling, we are currently loving a palette of natural, autumnal colours complemented by black accents. We created two galleries using a selection of the new art prints – one above the bed and another on the opposite wall, where we also styled a Relax chair in natural finish (a personal favourite) and a black Recycled wood bench. We stole the beautiful olive tree from Leanne’s front courtyard and absolutely loved the look of it in the new Cane planter – a winning combo.
Engaging followers with Instagram stories on the day, White Moss fans were able to join in the fun and throw some suggested challenges at us. Many requests were for advice on gallery walls, so we hope ours provided the sought after inspiration.
We had such fun participating in this collaborative event and we look forward to using items from the collection is some of our own projects soon.
